It is hard to believe that back to the late 70's that Porsche really wanted to replace the iconic 911 with the 928. The temptation to produce a refined sports car that combined power and handling with luxury and comfort was indeed very real for Porsche's decision makers at that time. Porsche thought that just such a flagship could have a broader appeal in the showroom and in the real world. Porsche produced the 928 from 1977 and developed it through 1995. The front engined V8 never really dominated or ever threatened the 911 in the showroom but it did develop a very loyal following.

The car we are proud to present here is largely a one owner car from the mid-west. The car changed hands in late 2018 before we acquired it earlier this year. This 928 wears its original paint with a beautiful, deep, shine. The interior looks like new throughout. The carpets, headliner and especially the leather are evidence to the low low miles and usage.

We have performed a thorough and complete inspection of the car by Frank Collins, our renowned Gold Certified Porsche Classic Technician, and found it to need only a basic annual service and transmission flush. This 928 is ready for immediate delivery and enjoyment. With a recent upturn in the market place, original, unmolested 928's are bringing real collectors to take notice.
